All i did was use the "Software Manager" to update the package kdebase.
Error: locales<>=S 2.3.1.1 conflicts with rpm-4.0.3-0.20mdk
usermode<>=S 1.42-2 conflicts with kdebase-2.2-2mdk
libgtkmdk-0.1.so.2 is needed by drakfont-0.58-13mdk
libgtkmdk-0.1.so.2 is needed by menudrake-0.6.1-5mdk
I choose force, but with fear; every time I have tried this with any package
whose dependencies requires the upgrade of rpm, I get an unusable system.
"file /usr/lib/libqtmcop.so.0.0.0 from install of kdelibs-2.2-5mdk conflicts
with file from package libarts2-2.2-0.beta1.1mdk.
Installation failed.
