While we're on the topic of drakprofile, does anyone actually have this
working so you select the profile at boot time? I used this with 7.2
which was based on linuxconf's profiling capability. Ever since 8.0 came
around I haven't been able to select the profile at boot time (I even
manually added the append=" profile=Home" to lilo.conf but it does
nothing (I have linuxconf services starting at boot).
So I have been manually running linuxconf --selectprofile [name] ever
since 8.0 came out and it's rather annoying.
Does drakprofile not use linuxconf? If not, does it use LILO to choose
the profile? How the heck does it work? Does it work? :)
