I'm not sure if cooker does this already, but I know that Mandrake 8
doesn't.
The NeoMagic 2160 needs two special Options in the XF86Config-4 file to
make it work properly - if you don't put them in it makes X hang a few
seconds into loading, and the system can't be rebooted or switched to
another console. I discovered this on my new laptop a couple of days
ago. X 3.3.6 is fine, but 4.0.3 (and I think 4.1.0 from reading the
mailing list at xfree86.org) suffers. The correct options are:
Option "XaaNoScanlineImageWriteRect"
Option "XaaNoScanlineCPUToScreenColorExpandFill"
I'm not sure if XFdrake detects the 2160 individually or if NeoMagic
cards are just detected as one, but if individually it would be great if
these lines could be added in and active, and if not, added in but
commented.
