as "startkde" is finally fixed I will continue reporting KDE bugs.
Here we go: Since I've upgraded to kdebase-2.2-10mdk recently,
my kdm won't work any more. This is what I get in "/var/log/messages"

It throws me right back to the host chooser on a X-Terminal and kills XFree
server on the machine itself :-(
As I did not log out after the update to "kdebase-2.2-8mdk" and
"kdebase-2.2-9mdk", I can't tell you exactly which build broke kdm.
By the way, kdmrc is not marked as configfile. As a result each update
overwrites the old one without creating a "kdmrc.rpmsave" backup file when
addapted. So can you please replace the following line in the kdebase spec

by this one
