Hi!

In the latest Mandrake Cooker Weekly News, it says:

| To give easy access for the users to this new concept printerdrake was
| substancially changed. It is now completely based on Foomatic and so it
| does the same steps to set up and configure printers, independent which
| spooler is actually used. The only exception is that for the case of
| CUPS.

There, it's talking about printerdrake being able to configure not only
CUPS, but also other printing systems.

Uhm - how do I tell printerdrake to not use CUPS? I tried removing all
of cups (besides libcups - see my mail "KDE relies to heavy on CUPS" (or
somehting like this *G*)) and installed pdq. However, when I run
"printerdrake", it always installs cups and associated tools.

The same thing happens when only lpr is installed.

Why is that?
