Hmm - here it's doing nothing at all. First I did:
[askwar@teich mdk]$ rsync -av /COOKER/cooker .
building file list ... Speicherzugriffsfehler
So, I got a segfault. Then I did:
[askwar@teich mdk]$ rsync -av /COOKER/cooker /tmp/mdk
building file list ...
And now I'm already waiting for about 5 minutes on a Duron 800@720. The
machine is otherwise "idle".
Oh! I can't even break this with CTRL-C. Strange... Uh.. Even
killall rsync (by root) doesn't kill it...
[root@teich root]# killall rsync
[root@teich root]# ps awux|grep rsync
askwar 9266 0.0 0.1 1920 968 pts/0 D 13:51 0:00 rsync -av
/COOKER/cooker /tmp/mdk
askwar 9267 0.0 0.0 0 0 pts/0 Z 13:51 0:00 [rsync <defunct>]
Yikes! Even killall -9 rsync doesn't kill it. Uhm - bug. For sure.
