I have noticed that many, roughly 75%, of the cooker distributions that I
mirror fail to install. They usually fail for a variety of reasons,
generally giving low level error messages that I can't understand, like
"Unknown Package: ''".

I'm beginning to suspect my fmirror configuration file which looks like
this:

username: anonymous
password: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
host: ftp.club-internet.fr
remotedir:/pub/unix/linux/distributions/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586
localdir: cooker
passive: 1

I noticed that it said that the timezone offset from GMT was +0. I'm testing
it by adding this line:

remotetz: -120

Does anybody have any input on this. Do I really have to care about
timezones in order to mirror files? Will I have to change this value when we
leave daylight savings time?

Regards,

Chris
