{ Can you try the following :
{   rpm -q --qf '%{SERIAL}:%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}\n' xmms-kde
{
{ And the follwing too
{   gzip -dc /var/lib/urpmi/synthesis.hdlist.* | grep xmms-kde@provides
{
{ And check the first number (called serial), if the one of xmms-kde-0.6.5-1 is
{ greater than the one of xmms-kde-0.6.5-2mdk, you have to force installation
{ (and (none) eq 0).

Hello Franois,

I'm sorry but I can't reproduce the problem. I removed the program and
then tried to install the new version with urpmi. I can't find a mirror
that still carry xmms-kde-0.6.5-1 so I can't reproduce the problem.

Now when I said that I tried to install the new version:
[root@maniwaki tmp]# urpmi -p xmms-kde libxmms-kde
[...]
installing /var/cache/urpmi/rpms/xmms-kde-0.6.5-2mdk.i586.rpm
/var/cache/urpmi/rpms/xmms-kde-libxmms-kde1-0.6.5-2mdk.i586.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libxmms-kde = 1 is needed by xmms-kde-0.6.5-2mdk
Installation failed

Denis
