Hello,

when trying to make an ext3 filesystem on hdc1, mke2fs segfault...
hdc is a 250Mb ZIP.
And this is the same for ext2:
[root@greg root]# mke2fs /dev/hdc1
mke2fs 1.23, 15-Aug-2001 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
Filesystem label=
OS type: Linux
Block size=1024 (log=0)
Fragment size=1024 (log=0)
61200 inodes, 244720 blocks
12236 blocks (5.00%) reserved for the super user
First data block=1
30 block groups
8192 blocks per group, 8192 fragments per group
2040 inodes per group
Superblock backups stored on blocks:
8193, 24577, 40961, 57345, 73729, 204801, 221185

Writing inode tables: Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I have put the core (bz2) under http://ulima.unil.ch/greg/linux/core-mke2fs.bz2

If I could send or do anything at all, just let me know, thanks you very much,

        Greg
