ok. very fine, verry good, but ...
+ firewall : we have the bastille firewall wizard in the control center, and
also a wizard for firewall. hum, it's a little bit too much
+ If I launch a wizard, and after try to launch another, it disapears and
doesn't embed in drakconf.
In fact if I launch firewall, and after I launch time, I see nothing. If I
try web, the same. But If I click again on firewall, I see the time wizard,
and if I click on time, I see ... the web wizard.
+ support for dynamic IP adress ( cable, DSL, dhcp client ) : when I have to
specify the IP of the serveur, it's a pb. If I specify my IP ( 194.xxx ), it
doesn't like. If I let the default value (192.168.0.1 ), I don't like as it
reconfigure my computer with this IP, so I lose my connection. Even after I
can't make draknet give me a normal IP. Maybe we'd rather specify the
interface. If you want a way to have the IP adress thanks to the interface :
ifconfig ppp0 | grep inet | cut -f2 -d: |awk '{print $1}'
or
ifconfig eth0 | grep inet | cut -f2 -d: |awk '{print $1}'
here are the error of draknet when it try to reconf my card.
[root@bastard root]# draknet
modprobe: Can't locate module serial
Please wait while probing serial ports...
everything already installed
RTNETLINK answers: Cannot assign requested address
Error, some other host already uses address 192.168.0.1.
wizcancel at /usr/lib/libDrakX/my_gtk.pm line 418.
Erreur de segmentation (core dumped)
So for me, with a cable connection it's completly unusuable.
I need to reboot, launch draknet for a LAN connection ( if I select cable it
can't do it ).
On top of that, where is the firewall script ? No I want to disable it, but I
don't know how to do it.
