What is corrupted is the 'mapping' of inodes in the partition > table. If this is correct (? chs not ending in the right place) this cause no error for partition table provided they are not overlaping. So, error can be associated with something else. But can you check the geometry directly in the BIOS maybe ? Fran�ois.
