Hello, I typed rpm -Uvh i* forgetting that I had an i_foo_bar.sh in the same directory. Rpm ouput the following : i_foo_bar.sh: read manifest failed: Success and did nothing more. I seem to remember that the old rpm would have said i_foo_bar.sh not an rpm file and then carried on to update / install the rest of the rpm files. Just though I would mention it, Owen
