The network card that was used to do the install must have been detected
or else we couldn't have installed via FTP :) (we used the pcmcia.img
that was in Cooker on Friday).

I have not and unfortunately  the guy is gone for a couple weeks on
vacation.

It was a IBM EtherJet 10/100 Mb card on a Thinkpad 600e (maybe 600x).
