This is the right place, so you want to choose a serial mouse with type PS/2
wheel mouse. I suggest you to try the following: Choose the right mouse type and
change symlink /dev/mouse from psaux to ttyS0 (if first serial port).
Please check /dev/psaux is not used in /etc/X11/XF86Config* and change if
necessary.
