I haven't had the opportunity to upgrade my workstation to the
betas/cooker yet (I normally keep in pretty close synch with cooker).
However, I knew since 8.0 came out that we would be doing a kernel
upgrade and I wouldn't be much of a good tester/preparer if I wasn't
able to run the kernel live on a pure 8.0 system.  Now that the kernel
upgrade is out of the way, I'll be installing beta3 when it's out.

So no... no secret reason as to why I'm sticking with 2.4.7-12.3mdk
although I would wager that it could quite possibly be more stable
than what is currently in cooker (but I'm not 100% on that since I
haven't even looked at cooker yet).
