Yes I know. The author has been looking for a name for a long time now.
NT would be Net Thief. But the program is called Downloader for X in the
meantime.
Version 2.0 is comming out soon and he is thinking of finaly calling it
Net Thief...

I'm not used to lftp, so I can't say. But compared to lftp, NT is a gui.
NT actually supports ftp search via ftpsearch.lycos.com and
www.filesearch.ru, with ping on the sites to find the fastest one,
etc...
