No, I didn't quote that, but it's the impression I got, and frankly you
can't comment either way until you at least read the article. It was on
OSNews.com, but I can't get to it right now or I'd paste the section I was
referring to. He just went out of his way to say that although he didn't
mention anything specifically good about ext3 that it still had some great
developers working on it. As you can see, it's not a negative comment.

No, I am speaking again of a published article outlining RedHat's move to
ext3fs. And again, unless you have read this article what are you
commenting on?

That is fine. When did I ever say it should not be included, in fact you
can go back and look and see that I commended MandrakeSoft for providing
the most choices of journaling filesystems *of any vendor*, and that
includes the ext3 journaling fs along with that.

Since when? I did use the pronoun *I* didn't *I*? Speed is important to
me. If you like to run a slow filesystem, or at least prefer something
other than speed, knock yourself out. How am I going to stop you even if I
wanted to (and I don't, btw)?

I was giving my impression, which, yes, was based on published articles,
which is a good thing, as it shows I'm not just making this up, and no,
you seem to imply it was ZDNet or something when it comes straight from
the horse's mouth. But again, remember, it was my opinion. Other people
did not say it, I did, and I also cannot make you believe something you
don't want to, so there's no need tp get all worked up.
