I CAN boot hde with hda connected, there is an option for that in the Bios,
by the way, there is a Promise Bios, like SCSI ones. The problem is that
lilo can't install correctly in hde if hda connected.

Because, since if hda is connected at install, lilo doesn't work, so lilo
refused to provide a boot option on hda, coz it's not present (at install).
