[Cooker] A few 8.1 beta "issues"

1 my modem is not recognized its a "Topic semicondutor communications
controller" and needs
setserial /dev/ttyS1 uart 16550a irq 5 port 0xa400 to work (obviously
irq and port may change but..)
2 How do you get ANY program to read a DVD movie??
3 everything else works great i would like instructions on how to setup
Internet Autodial (Kppp?) without breaking
manual dial
