During the install, if I select "testing the X server", upon the X server stopping I have a blank, dark screen and no viurtual consoles. 2. If I choose to boot using a vga= framebuffer mode, I can see the console in both monitors and, if I start the X server, have no virtual consoles visible and get a dark, blank screen if I kill the X server. I can telent into the computer and restart X. Using vga=normal seems to allow me access to the virtual consoles. 3. Independent configuration of the heads is not successful although I can use them in both Xinerama mode. Hoyt
