yes it helps : I was wondering why the joystick worked with one SB16, and
didn't anymore with two soudcards ( sB16 + SB128 pci ) each with a joystick
port

OK, it's fixed now.  I had a reply from the joystick man Vojtech Pavlik
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, who gave me this answer: "pass the 'joystick=1' option
to the es1371 module".  That wasn't at all obvious to me but it works.  I
hope this may help someone in the same position.
