I'll have to try the -22 kernel; Konqueror will "run" for me as user but only verrrryy slooowwwwllyy and with a runaway swapfile. As root, it operates quickly and correctly. This is with the -12 and -21 kernels. Over the last year, running Mandrake, my swapfile has never been touched; now, suddenly, it maxes out in a matter of minutes without my physical memory (512MB) even reaching 25% capacity. Funky. But, like I said, only when logged in as user, not root; and only when Konqueror is started. If I use Mozilla or Netscape all is well.
