There are three completely different problems here.
1) nspluginscan is having problem with file types during the scan. This
problem is relatively new. I have no clue what the problem is.
2) nspluginscan is starting a copy of dcopserver which is causing
kdeinit to fail to start, since it thinks that dcopserver shold not be
running when it is starting up. This has been around for a bit. This
seems to point to nspluginscan having to occur after, or in parallel
with, kdeinit.
3) "unary operator expected": this is new. I haven't seen that before.
Did you edit startkde?
I don't know if these are Mandrake specific, or KDE 2.2.1pre related. I
personally haven't had a chance to go to KDE's site to see if any of
these are in their bug reports.
