I do not know if it rsync, Mandrake or Linux in general problem (as I
almost do not use rsync anywhere else).
I start local copy from HD onto ppa Jaz drive. It is finished but rsync
does not exit. In ps list I see three rsync processes in S state. As
soon as I try to strace one of them (this should be one specific, will
check next time which one) rsync happily exits.
Just in case somebody has seen something similar. I can reproduce it
every time, I have updated many times since I have first seen it so it
is not a bug in any specific version of kernel/glibc/whatever
