When installing RC1 if I try to configure a printer after cups
and several other pkgs are installed the installation stalls and
will not proceed displayed is: Please wait checking software
The last several log entries are:
 Entering step 'Summary'
 Cannot read printer.conf file
 Error message from remadim:
Error message from remadim: Gtk-WARNING**: cannnot open display::0
I tried the installation twice and the same error and stall occured.
The trird time I ran the installation as an upgrade and skipped the printer.
The installation completed normally.

When setting up the printer using the Control Center the following error
message occurs:
 Can't load module
 /usr/lib/linuxconf/modules/printers.so.1.26.0
 /usr/lib/linuxconf/modules/printers.so.1.26.0 undefined symbol: ef-printer
dbfile
I am then able to complete the printer set-up and it seems to be properly
working.
When I close set-up I receive the same error message.

Ide Zip drive is not properly configured.
It is shown only as /dev/hdc and as /mnt/zip.
I added the append to lilo hdc=ide-scsi
After boot now shows as /dev/hdc and /dev/sda and as /mnt/zip100.0 (/mnt/zip
is still listed which elisits error messages during boot)
Also it is necessary to edit the config in Lomega.
The drive will now operate properly, be mounted and unmounted and written.

Using Gnome and GMC the desktop shortcuts are not properly produced most
only appear as the Gnome-application-X-ping and none will work.
Selecting any will only produce the Open with application window requesting
that I select an app with which to open the shortcut.
The properties shows the file type as:
application/x-desktop rather than the proper application/x-gnome-app-info
The problem also applies to any user created desktop shortcuts but not to
panel launchers.
The above problem also appeared in Beta2&3
