a few issues in HardDrake (as in beta1) 1 whats with it popping to some other console during the detect stage and not coming back ?? (have to [crtl]+[alt]+F6 to get back to normal 2 some of the detects are "unknown" but could be solved by doing some simple greps such as First word of device ID is normally the OEM : a "Topic Communications Controller" is a Topic product a "Liteon DVDROM LTD122" is a Liteon and so on 3 when items are unknown could you unlock the id stuff so say the Topic PCI card can be id as a MODEM 4 could you also think of using the APIs that are i think PD to snag a Windows device tree and grep that (im going to see if i can do an export and compare the detect report from drake and the winreg) -- Robert LaurenceMartin
