I downloaded the isos as soon as they started hitting mirrors and were timestamped at 5:18 am. Installed them successfully (well, as successfully as possible :-) ). Then I heard of the second release so downloaded the newer cd1 timestamped at 9:pm. Tried to install, but the 2nd cd just would not work with it. The installer couldn't find any package it looked for and finally fizzled out. I recall seeing some of the names you mention as not found - emac and kdegames for example. I've read of only one other report of this. So anyway. I just redownloaded both of them from a different mirror and they worked together and installed then. -s
