Didn't format it again, but did try the 'swapon -a' and no problem came
back, so it must have been already mounted cause it was silent.
Did a 'swapon -s' and got:
swapon -s
Filename Type Size Used Priority
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part5 partition 249440 0 -1

So seems so to be working fine. There is something that pops up during
text boot up seems to indicate that it didn't work (talks about part 5
and swap) but when I check the logs, swap was activated, no indication
of the message that shows up during boot.
Seems to me that this shows up during boot just after it says that fd0
failed and isn't a valid block device. Will have to reboot several times
to get it all, if you want it let me know.
I haven't had one problem from 7.2 -8.0 with my removeable media
working, since beta 3 to RC1 they don't work right on either machine. I
keep hoping that this devfs or what ever is causing it will be fixed
soon. I have said it before and will again: rmpdrake will access them,
audio cd's will play. Can't access from /mnt or desktop. Weird problem,
but I have seen others that have it also.
So if you want more info on the boot messages that doesn't seem to be in
the logs let me know.

Dave
