maybe but the hack may be important and do such a hack before 8.1 is impossible or
will block a mdk dev.
All efforts have to go for bug fixes and at least mdk scripts bugfixes.
I don't think that mdk can do as RH that for example patch nautilus for better
performance ( read the entire thread :
