Just tried to install 8.1 on another machine... Due to flaky CD reader, I copied all 3 images to HD and used hd.img...
1. images were in /home/ISO... when asked for image location, only directories in lowercase were presented; ISO was not listed. 2. install proceeded to about the point where it should have asked for 2nd image; instead it just started giving error messages about the modules. 3. this install was being done on a spare set of partitions. It would be REALLY NICE if the install used the info in the existing MBR to offer the user the option of adding the old distro to lilo.conf More later, Pierre
