This issue has been reported before and is now happening in 8.1. Have gnome as default desktop and autologin for the only user. autologin-1.0.0-5mdk Everytime you check when this has happened before, gnome is still the default for autologin. This seems to happen more often or maybe only when (can't be postive on this) the user halts the system vs reboot or logout. Still, when I start the system and come back in the room IceWM is up. This only started happening yesterday, so more sure that this is the sequence now that I think about it. If logout and choose halt then it has a good chance of doing it. If logout to the login screen and then halt the system less likely to or doesn't at all when reboot.
Do I need to run more reliability test on this or are other noticing the same thing?
