No... I do not have that set up now, but now that you mention gfcc, I 
used gfcc when working with the 2.2 series of kernels, and ipchains, 
since the arrival of the 2.4 series, I use iptables instead of ipchains.

Yes I was able to connect and 'see' the other pc and exchange files 
among them.... reason why I had that set-up in the first place.
And to be able to access the net using a single modem connection.


Since then, I have switched to Cable and add it a SMC 10/100 Broadband 
Router and discontinue using gfcc.  Adding the Broadband router was an 
enexpensive way to acces the net from several PCs at the same time and 
just one cable modem.  In our location the Cable company charges by PC.
