That doesn't work . . . tried it already . . .

The PC-Card services can't start an therefore eth0 doesn't exist.

eth0: unknown interface: No such device

I tried manually starting the PCMCIA modules with no luck . . . since
the new kernel-2.4.12-3mdk, the PCMCIA services are built into the
kernel and not separate (pcmcia-cs-3.1.29-1mdk) as with previous
kernels.  The Mandrake installer doesn't compensate for this . . .
