Linux seems to be on the back :burner >From HP's main page at http://www.hp.com I entered the words officejet and linux into their site search engine. The first response I received was: http://www.hp.com/products1/linux/printers_and_linux.html This page refers to the project on sourceforge.net to create open source drivers for Hewlett Packard laser, inkjet, and multifunction products. The project has a home page at http://hpoj.sourceforge.net/ where you may find reference to a mailing list and page maintenance by David Paschal, who is an HP employee active in Linux driver development for these devices. :PS the G95 is in fact a G85 with a jetdirect J3258B no less no more ;) True.
