It works. I had a TNT2Ultra and now a GeForce2MX400+TVOut and works fine.
I sometimes run Performer apps, and if they don't kill the driver
nothing does. I have a last-minute cooker (well, at least the
packages I use). And a home-built kernel 2.4.15-pre1+bproc. Ah, and
on an SMP box.

BTW, the TV out works. I do not use it frequently, but I tested it works.

A note: there were (and I also suffered them) many reports about
nVidia drivers crashing when switching from console to X. I think it
was not nVidia's fault, but kernel's one. Corrected in latest kernels.
