* Mon Nov 19 2001 <> 2.2b2-1mdk

- 'shiny new version' (last 2.2 beta)
- took the user-config section from Sean Reifschneider's
(<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) SPEC for 2.2b1, and doc section for main package
- new docs wgetted, and RPM description corrected (pure html!)
- adapted patches
- disabled emacs bytecompile, sorry, I've got only xemacs installed

Find attached modified patches for rpm, kudzu, newt (hier also spec)
which address the new version number by introducing a sh var PYVER.
I exported it in my current shell, but why not using a system wide variable?
An inclusion in the related specs would be also a convenient way...
(export PYVER=`python -c "import sys; print sys.version[:3]"`)

Btw:
expat and newt packages installed libs and headers in root file system during
rebuild
