Close, but not quite there yet. The install image works well. The installer seems to know it needs pcmcia-cs, and loads the appropriate stuff. Power down and back up again after the install completes, and the pcmcia card services turn on, and the card is active, but no network conncetion.
Running netconf in the configuration menu shows the first entry is for eth0. It is not enables. I clicked to enable it, dhcp was already set as the default. Put in pcnet_cs as the kernel driver. Exit netconf, let it do what it suggests needs doing -- and like magic ! a working network! Vinny
