I've seen many, many references to this error with google searches, but no
fixes.

Is there a fix or workaround yet?

Click the floppy icon, the drive mounts, then Konq. opens and pops up an
"unsupported action listDir" box and barfs. Try to unmount with the icon,
and it says it isn't mounted, though it really is. Has to be umounted
manually...

This applies equally to anything that can be mounted/unmounted from an icon.
(KDE 2.1 or 2.2.1 or whatever comes with 8.1...)

I found a KDE bug report that was well-written, but there were no
followups... This is probably a KDE thing, but still, I wonder if there's
some way to hack around the problem. I've gotten about everything else
working, and I'm bored, and this is mildly irritating. :)

Some of the stuff I found implies this is tied to AA. That's probably
possible. I found a bug in KDE where many different apps have hard-coded
references to Helvetica, which is a font that goes away if you turn on AA and
you use drakfont to install all your Windows fonts.... (No real resolution
on that one as everyone points the finger at someone else, but at least the
KDE folks fixed the hard coding for Helvetica...) However, at present I
don't have any Windows fonts installed, and have never run DrakFont in this
installation.
