I managed to get my hands on the new Zaurus from sharp. It runs Linux 2.4.6 and uses the QT palmtop. I was dissapointed at first that it will only sync with an M$ machine (Outlook) but since it is still in development and not sheduled to be released in Feb 2002 it is a slick design but there is much room for improvement. There are still many bugs and I myself an planning a linux usb driver for the unit so I can sync w/ evolution or other PIM's. It's got this neat slide-out keyboard so you can thumbtype. . Everyone I showed it to went apesh%& over it. Check it out at http://developer.sharpsec.com
