Hello all,
I wanted to update these sooner, but now I'm back in Hong Kong for a very well-earned break from Sydney. I only just got back the net. So this is the I-don't-know-what's-inside-the-tarball release. I have no idea what functionality had been added since my absence, if you are so inclined, please check the CVS logs. :-) Just to let everyone know, I updated the Licq V8 RPMS. V8 has been merged with head, so v8 is head, head is v8. This is CVS stuff, so it's not guaranteed to work. Things might be broken, badly. But you have my extra reliably unreliable (sic) added guarantee that these can at least compile, because I made some binaries. Here, again, is my disclaimer: I don't guarantee that these will work -- at all. Use at your own risk. General policy is there is no support for this, expressed or implied. I might try to help if something breaks, but then I might not. Still, I encourage you to try this if you know what you are doing, since these offer better functionality with respect to server support. You can find the RPMs here: https://kenobi.mandrakesoft.com/~snailtalk/RPM Special note to Stefan Siegel: I heard that one might be able to get rid of your problem by using anti-aliasing. Sounds strange, but you might like to give it a go anyway. -- Geoff.
