Hello,
Can comeone explain me how the newtwork profile is suppose to work. I
created two different profiles with the connection wizard (one named home
and named university). If I apply them manually through MCC they wotk
fine. For grub, I added prof=home to one line and prof=university to
another. But these have no effect.
I tracked the problem to linuxconf. In /etc/rc.sysinit we are suppose to
execute /bin/linuxconf --select-profile $profile to update the network
config. But linuxconf is not aware of the profiles:
[root@mobile etc] /bin/linuxconf --select-profile university
Error
Profile university does not exist
[root@mobile etc] rpm -q linuxconf drakxtools
linuxconf-1.26r4-1mdk
drakxtools-1.1.7-49mdk
