I sent it to wrong list and it never appeared on cooker-i18n anyway so I
try once more.

I wanted to Cc to maintainer, but there are 4 ChangeLog entries with 4
different persons :-) The last one is Pixel?
When I call gmessage with Russian text in KOI8-R locale I get a window
with a text transliterated using ASCII. urpmi is using this in X mode,
so it is immediately visible when you unstall anything using romdrake.
It was not always the case. I remember it working once.
