   I too have been patiently waiting to see it make it to Mandrake...  I 
don't know what exactly the differences are, but 0.5 -> 0.9 seems like a 
big jump.... Hopefully man goodies in there....   I *REALLY* want 
digital I/O support for my SBLive! but I haven't had much luck...   
Also, full-duplex is screwey with ALSA 0.5
