Yes, I was able to successfully burn a cd with the isos from mkcds. However, unless I can use the cd to install the whole distribution, it helps me little. As a repository of RPM files, I can use the original directory that I mirrrored to. It is of interest to see if everything is compatible, which means installing everything together. I still could benefit from having more information about how to use mkcds and mkcd2 (including the reason for the fork). Thanks. --Rich
