You mean /usr/X11R6/share/endeavour2, i suppose ? I'm not sure it reads mime 
configuration from there, but we could ask the developers for this.

Have you reported it to wolfpacks developers ? They are quite civilised, you

all kde apps also needs X11, but use standard /usr prefix. 
According to FHS:
This hierarchy is reserved for the X Window System, version 11 release 6, and 
related files. 
I'll move it back to /usr in next release.
