If they do they are broken. How could they be 'broken'? No matter what, I need them in order to run VMWare. And I doubt that static glibc headers reflect the current kernel configuration. Why there seem to be new header packages for _random_ kernel versions every now and then escapes me. Either they should be there for every kernel version or not at all. Rgds, Rainer
