Indeed -18mdk works correctly; and from the Changelog it seems that
the involved change was actually fixing that problem.
Andrej, can you check the version of your gtk+ package ?
Now, there is another problem, last Gnome rpm packages lost png support,
(a ldd on a gnome program doesn't show libpng...) and as a result all
icons or almost all are replaced with empty black squares...
