Well... we ARE Targeted at new users, desktop users, and converting Windows users... why make it harder than it has to be? If dropping ONE SILLY SPACE fixes this and makes it easier to use - the stop the stupid debate and drop the space! New users are NOT command line savvy. The finer points of no quote vs. single quote vs. double quote is great for us to debate here in cooker - but does someone trying Mandrake for the first time really want to know this ?
