Hello, My Agfa 1212U appears to be configured but will not scan.
Running scannerdrake results in correct detection and the question "Should it be configured". Answering yes results in the dismissal of the Yes / No dialog and no further output from scannerdake. Assuming that whatever configuration that needs doing had been done and finding a new icon on the desktop I clicked it. I got and Accept License dialog, on pressing Accept I got a Scanning for Devices dialog. After a short while a dialog with the message "Failed to open device '/dev/usb/scanner0': Invalid argument" and no scanning took place ! This happens whether or not the scanner is actually plugged into the USB port. drakxtools-newt-1.1.7-51mdk kernel-2.4.17-1mdk xsane-0.82-1mdk libusb0.1-0.1.3b-2mdk Owen On Friday 07 Dec 2001 5:08 pm, you wrote: > On 12 Nov 2001 16:56:27 +0100 > > Yves Duret <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I just made an heavy update to scannerdrake and ScannerDB thanks to > > yours > > > contributions following my call some weeks ago.
