Hi! Since I just switched to DevFS, I experience some problems. What I'm currently fighting with, is how to enable mounting of CDs with DevFS.
I've got 4 SCSI CD-writers in my system. These are accessible thru /dev/scd0..scd3. Further, I have /dev/cdrom which is a symlink to /dev/cdroms/cdrom0, however, /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 does not exist. So I have to use /dev/scd0 to mount my cdrom. Shouldn't /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 be a link to /dev/scd0? And cdrom1 to scd1? Is the shipped devfsd not SCSI CD-Rom aware? Oh, supermount is not enabled.
